currently have E270E ordered but can change still

This will be my first computer that I have build. I know a decent amount of computer knowledge but not anywhere near what most people on here know. I know I want asus brand but am having second thoughts about the motherboard. Would this be fine or would it maybe be worth upgrading? I don't mind spending $80 or whatever the difference is if something will be a bit better or last a little longer. Thanks!

Honestly looking at that man you would get more out of a ryzen 1700 + a asus gaming 370-f and save some money for extra items

I definitely want to stick with intel. At the moment I don't know much about overclocking at all. It's going to be a struggle building this thing lol.

The IX Code is more durable, and is kinda better from my opinion, but you have to deal with only 2 USB 2.0 slots. You can always buy a hub, like the NZXT one.

Thanks. Hmm I'm sort of leaning towards it a bit but still am not 100% sure. What exactly makes it better? All these numbers don't make sense to me lol. Thanks for your help.

Trust me overclocking is not that hard, and the 1700 is fine as it is without an overclock, with good cooling or just decent cooling it goes to 3.7 ghz with a better amount of cores and threading. But if you do go intel the 7700k is still good

Yea gonna stick with intel for now at least. So personally would you get Maximus? Feel like since I'm going all out on 1080ti I might as well get a better motherboard as well even if it's slightly better.
