A cheap card that can beat my R9 280X

R9 290 generally seems to beat a 1050ti in more often than not at 1080p, by a good margin in some games, and the gap widens if u go up to 1440p. 

 

Keep in mind stock blower cooler 290s were subject to thermal throttling and thats usually what was benchmarked. Aftermarkets did much better. 

 

Now if your comparing TDP, the 1050 ti will definitely fare better. 

 

Not saying i would get a 290.
