case fan wont start

hi i recently put in a case fan but it won't start and i don't know why. anyone know how to fix it?

May I ask, would it be possible for you to attach an image of were you have plugged the fan into and what fan model is it?

its a 92mm case fan with 3 pin connector from star tech

The one on the motherboard is 4 pin my conector is 3pin btw
