I think 400-500W is more than enough. Just make sure to get a quality PSU.

I am building a NAS and i need to figure out how much power its going to need. I will be using an i7-4790, motherboard, and ram from an old pre-built i have, an LSI SAS9211-8I, and a few drives, i don't need suggestions, just estimates on power draw.

Intel 7700k @stock// Asus rog strix GeForce GTX 1080// Asus rog Z-270E// Phantels Enthoo Evolv// 32gb (2x16) Corsair Vengance LPX// Corsair H100i V2// Samsung 850 Evo 250gb// Seagate BarraCuda 3tb// Corsair RM750i

I'd guess a 350W Seasonic unit should do fine.

My account is almost entirely dormant. Hope you all are having a grand time. Many years of fun were had here.
