R5 1600x overheating (shutting down 95c)

My brand new 1600x shut down because its too hot my cooler is the nzxt kraken x62 also brandnew my mobo is the Aorus gaming k7 and my ram is the G.Skill tridentz rgb 3000mhz cl15 16 GB when i run a stress test or play any game it shut down for overheating my cooler liquid temps are at 37,5C but the cpu achieves 95C and then it shut down temps from ryzenmasters software i dont know what to do i looked for quite a while about this problem and i found nothing related can you help me please i just want to play with my new monster

Well first of all, dont let it reach 95 degrees. Second of all, did you use thermal paste? Is the cooler plugged in?

Sounds like the liquid cooler's pump is dead, or it is not installed properly onto the CPU.

well there was preinstalled thermal paste i dont think the pump is because the liquid is not hot

Check to make sure the pump in your AIO isn't KIA.

I think it's one of the following problems:

1. installed incorrectly

2. pump is broken

I had a standoff break as well, just send in a picture of the broken standoff, and ask for a replacement pair of standoffs.

Make sure pump in on cpu fan header 1
