so i 3d model in blender and my current system isnt powerful enough for particle effects and all that other fun junk. what is a good system (used allowed) for about 500 (cad)

your current system specs? i would suggest an older i7 3770 OEM pc.

i bought a pre built dont remember how long ago it has a intel pentium g4400 and i slapped a 750ti in there

Cad mainly uses cpu and ram. The gpu is used to check the lines and suck in the system. Try to find/build a used system with a quad core and 16gb of ram at least. Also check youtube channels like scatterbolt

Don't forget that craigslist has good deals. Especially since right now people are trying to sell things to pay for college.

craigslist isnt an option for me small town problems and nearest city is 80km away

At least upgrade to 16gb of ram and the 6600 or 6700 processor. IMO

Agreed. A 750ti will last you a while longer and it'll save you more money for now. Then you can think about upgrading your GPU if you so wish.

https://pcpartpicker.com/list/JxqcHN You can save money if you go with a non k series cpu and a H170 motherboard if you don't plan to do any overclocking. 16GB is a tiny bit much, but it'll serve you well for a while and will give you some headroom to grow.

Now I may have linked a non k series cpu already in that list so if you want a K series, it might be a little more than that. Just a FYI. Got kinda click happy.
