YouTube issue?

So when I open YouTube it loads, the for some reason it hangs and I can't do anything for a few seconds. 

 

Is there an issue? I've tried removing cache and cookies. Same thing happens.

have you tried a different browser? When it freezes, does the whole browser, just that tab, or the entire computer freeze? can you watch videos on other sites?

Just YouTube. I can do everything else.

Chrome and I've tested it with Firefox and Opera. same issue.

hmm. On the off chance you haven't yet, try restarting the machine. otherwise, see if you have any windows updates available. Also check your memory usage while trying to play videos, and see if its maxing out. While 16gb of RAM should be more than enough, perhaps there is some malware in your system that's consuming a bunch of system resources (or just an errant non-viral program).

 

EDIT: oh, and you can also try starting windows in safe mode with networking, and see if that has any effect.
