I have been running into a problem lately of my memory usage running very high. I have 16 GB and on launch my computer says it is using 15.9 GB? Causing issues while gaming or just for general use. How can I fix this?

Numbers don't add up, since it seems you are showing the most demanding tasks first. Do a virus/mallware/whatever check. (not sure about that windows version, but does it have an option to show all tasks, instead of only your tasks?) Windows 7 has a thingy for it...

I have windows 10, but unsure how to show all tasks. the numbers definitely don't add up though, which is why I'm very confused. I can screen shot all the tasks it list.

There is no real need to do that I think, since the list ends (first image) with 14.x mb crap in your memory. I would check your installed programs, check what programs are active and google them. (what are they used for, can you terminate the process, can you remove it) and do a virus check or something. But maybe someone with windows 10 knowlage might have better advice. I like my old and stable Windows 7 installation.

It can't actually be too many things running. It literally started doing this out of no where and I have cut back things, but it hasnt changed the amount of usuage at all.
