Posted March 25, 2013 This is a Picaxe (08m2) based fan controller using a DS18B20 temperature probe in a waterproof casing as the plan is to put it inside my res. The picaxe reads the temp and turns the fans on and off quicker the higher the temp, it’s an analogue version of PWM. The Code: main: Readtemp 1, B0 if B0>40 then label_40 if B0>39 then label_39 if B0>38 then label_38 if B0>37 then label_37 if B0>36 then label_36 if B0>35 then label_35 if B0>34 then label_34 if B0>33 then label_33 if B0>32 then label_32 if B0>31 then label_31 if B0>30 then label_30 goto main label_40: high 0 pause 1000 low 0 pause 1 goto main label_39: high 0 pause 10 low 0 pause 2 goto main label_38: high 0 pause 10 low 0 pause 5 goto main label_37: high 0 pause 10 low 0 pause 10 goto main label_36: high 0 pause 10 low 0 pause 50 goto main label_35: high 0 pause 10 low 0 pause 100 goto main label_34: high 0 pause 10 low 0 pause 250 goto main label_33: high 0 pause 10 low 0 pause 500 goto main label_32: high 0 pause 10 low 0 pause 1000 goto main label_31: high 0 pause 10 low 0 pause 2000 goto main label_30: high 0 pause 10 low 0 pause 5000 goto main Design: The fan splitter has be turned 90 degrees to allow more room for the Molex plugs.
