RAM upgrade

Don't really know where this should be put please move t if its in the wrong place. My PC has 4GB of DDR3 an the mobo supports upto 8GB. Is it worth the £20 it will cost to buy 2X4 GB dims?

look at task manager and see if you hit 4gig very often if you do then upgrade

Seem to be around 3GB, but I think I will upgrade anyway.

If you hit around 3GB and you're not gaming then I'd say upgrade. Most people here either do demanding work like editing or game on their PCs. It's not required, of course, your choice, but I'd upgrade if it's only 20 pounds (idk where the pound sign is on my keyboard)

At a glance, no. However if you open each link, it might say who the manufacturer is or something else of the sorts.

The CEX website isn't that advanced. Will just see in the store tomorrow.  Am hoping that there from brands that I recognise....

Ok so I decided against the ram, just bought a macbook that needs my attention insted. There was no difference in the RAM it was even from the same company. It began with an a but can't remember the rest
