Device Connectivity Issues (iTunes)

So I just bought a new 6s plus but in order to load my backup onto it I needed to update iTunes, before doing so it detected my phone no issues, but now it won't detect my 5s or 6s.

 

I know there are already DOZENS of guides on how to solve this issue but all the possible solutions don't appear to work - I've tried:

 

• Restarting Phone
• Restarting PC
• Restarting iTunes
• Different cable
• Different USB port
• Different phone 
• Waiting for the phone to be detected

 

After attempting to reinstall itunes it now won't allow me to even install the program, what a fucking ruined afternoon. If anyone has had a similar issue some help would be greatly appreciated.

I don't see how it's possible for iTunes to not install unless your OS has issues..... we are talking about Windows here yes?

Make sure that you are installing the right one for your pc, if you only have a 32 bit system installing a 64bit one will not work.

Managed to just simply find one of the older iTunes version installers (a super old one) in my downloads then update the version back up and its been working fine, thanks anyway!
