800$ budget Ryzen parts

Friend needs new CPU, ram, Mobo and cooler I told him Ryzen because he will be streaming and harcore gaming but I'm not sure on which one and not sure on the other parts. He does want to overclock

I picked the killer/sli for Wifi just in case

The AGESA update helps with RAM speed compatibility too.

400mhz increase in base clock but both the 1700 and 1700x have the same oc potential and the 1700x doesn't have a stock cooler while costing more, don't bother with the 1700x and get the 1700.

the difference between a 1700 and a 1700X is that the 1700X have been binned. That means you have a higher chance of getting a higher overclock. But that depends on the silicon lottery. I would suggest you to get the 1700, save that money for a better board + 3200Mhz memory. ;)
