Gaming Keyboard

Go to solution Solved by geogga,

Whoops,I misread some posts :)

So a ducky 3, normal edition with any LED you like.

There are 4 main switches, and some unique ones that are not too popular/rare

When I say light, heavy, means amount of force needed.

Reds are the lightest, Blacks are heaviest. Both are linear.

Blues are the medium click, between red and black. It has a tactile bump and a nice click.

Browns are tied with reds for lightest , they have the tactile bump but no click.

Browns and blues are most popular now.

Switching from a membrane to blues, a bit difficult but now adjusted to it.

I would get a brown and blue switch because they are the best, and I heard browns are great.

Ducky Shine 3.

i5 4670k | Sapphire 7950 | Kingston 120GB SSD | Seagate 1TB | G.Skill Ripjaw X Series 8GB

PB238Q | Steelseries Sensei | Ducky DK9087 | Qck Heavy

You sound a bit demanding :P

Mech keyboards generally are like 80 and above.

Your budget, $150 should really be for the keyboard alone.

You don't give any info about what you want or your needs so it's harder to determine and suggest products.

Selling my parts of my 900D rig for a jacked up Ncase M1. PM me for offers if interested (will take some reasonable-low offers because I'm desperate).

Parts that I'm selling: 900D (1 slot cover broken for stealth DVD drive mod) | Asus Z87 Deluxe | Cooler Master 212 Evo | Corsair 4x2GB black ram @1600mhz | EVGA 1000G2 PSU (2 cables with missing heat shrink) | DVD drive | HP membrane keyboard | Ducky Shine 3 YOTS in blue switches (warranty sticker broken)

Anything by Corsair, Ducky, or Razer like has been mentioned will be good.  There are other brands that offer good keyboards, but those three are more mainstream.  Checkout the Corsair Vengeance K70, good overall keyboard and it comes in a Red, Blue, and Brown switch variant.
