Hey everyone so i downloaded some drivers for a webcam i hadn't used in a while and shortly after my Windows Defender popped up several times telling me that it had discovered a Trojan Virus (Trojan:Win32/Dynamer!ac) in (ACPPlugins.dll). I clicked to remove the virus every single time it popped up ( i think it popped like 3 or 4 ) . And then i restarted and made another scan where nothing was found. I also proceeded to do a system restore back to 2 days ago to be completely sure . Is there anything i should worry about or that i have forgot to do or am i ok ? Thanks in advance !

Wow. Where did you download the drivers from? o.O

Although you've done a restore, I'd recommend you install Windows again. Also, do you have another HDD/SSD in your system? If you do, they might've got infected.

you should be fine, just don't re-download that driver from the same source.

Interestingly enough i downloaded them from the official Philips site...Maybe it was a false positive? I ran a scan again and it found this. I went ahead and deleted everything the folder contained .

After deleting that folder and rerunning the Windows Defender Scan it found nothing at all.
