I will be running 980 ti's in sli. Also, really minecraft no sli? I know it runs java and is cpu intensive, but I read somewhere that it is.

FOund it

Minecraft barely needs a GPU. it's very CPU dependent, so no, it doesn't support SLI

GTA V does, and it scales pretty well. FIFA does not. FIFA might, not sure.

you do need a bridge on Nvidia cards, and any SLI bridge should work. most high-end motherboards come with one, or your could buy one for like $5

however, SLI with low-end cards is pretty bad. don't go SLI. sell your current 960 and try get something like a GTX 1060. it will be better than anything you can get with 960 SLI.

EDIT: I see you will be using 980Tis, so disregard the last part about low end cards in SLI.

a single 980Ti is more than enough for minecraft. don't bother

plus, that's not SLI, it's just splitting the load between two GPUs, not actually increasing FPS.

FIFA 17 has a SLi profile. Check the patch notes.

GTA V does.

And BF4 does. Bit old though at his point. It had excellent scaling.

Oh okay that's good, I was just wondering because I looked online for my top 3 most played games and minecraft was like the hardest anwser to get. I'd read that sli is supported and then it'd say no and so forth.

SLi bridge is required. Doesn't really matter which set of connectors you use or bridges. Just make sure there's a bridge between them.

For the aesthetic you could get a fancy three way bridge as they look quite nice. However they are mostly hard bridges and if your slot spacing is goofy then just use a flexy two way connector. Doesn't really matter in the end though. As long as there's a bridge.
