Nothing says workstation more than 4 core CPU with thermal issues xD 

 

If you want awesome workstation, go with X99 platform and 6 core CPU ... either 5820k or 6800k. Yes it's dead platform, but it's stable. That's what workstations must be: stable at all times.

 

Or you can go with Ryzen, which will give you 8 core for same price of your build.

If you are building a workstation with no gaming why does it need to look good ? That is just wasting money where you don't need to. You should prioritise performance over looks for a build like this.
