Audio Problem

Hello, I have a problem where when I use headphones the audio in the background becomes very loud while I cannot hear the character voices because of how quiet they are.

My mobo sound manager is asus realtek hd audio manager my speaking config is set on 5.1

Your headphones are getting one of the surround speakers not the center speaker. 

How are you plugging in your headphone?

Im plugging my headphones in through the front if my pc case and my speakers are on my monitor but im trying to listen through my headphones its also very weird because it randomly happend one day and I never changed anything to make it like that

If you don't have a 5.1 speaker system then you should change it to Stereo. You can find the sound setting to change it under the under control panel/ Sound. Under the Playback tab. right click on your speakers and go to Configure speakers. Change it to stereo.

If you have multiple playback devices and don't know what one, right click on each and click test until you find the device that plays audio.

Yes I did change to stereo and the problem is still not fixed I tried on every speaker system given also its only when I stream videos

What software are you using to stream video? Just a web browser?

Yes just google chrome

I would check on the setting on the streaming site, maybe they have some sound settings.

If that doesn't work I would recommend reinstalling your audio drivers.

Probably going to reinstall my audio drivers it works on any streaming site like youtube netflix etc

Except i never recall even installing drivers for audio where do I install them?

Lookup drivers for your motherboard. They should have audio drives as an option.
