Other than the GPU i have a q6600 and 6gb of ram.

if the psu is good then no problem the setup should run fine with the 560.

I highly doubt it. They wouldn't put two on unless it needed them. What PSU do you have?

No it won't but if you get a molex adapter and the PSU is 500w or higher than it'll work, I made a cheap budget system for e-sports to a cousin using an EVGA 430w 80plus Bronze and I used the molex adapter, it worked fine but that old video card does use very much energy and it did almost max out the PSU.

the card does not actually draw 550watts probably closer to about 150. If the rest of the components arent too high power the adapter will work. connecting only one 6 pin will 99% not work.

You can get GTX 560 (Ti) for a cheap price at the moment. And they actually deliver some performance. I was actually thinking about buying a very cheap used GTX 560 Ti to use in my Ryzen system until new midrange cards are back in stock again. But the question is how long will this Fermi card last until it breaks.

I had a gtx 560 before and I'm gonna advise you on something.. these things get so hot.. like i'm playing fallout 4 on med at 720p and while it runs from 40-60.. it gets hot like it goes up to 100 degrees Celsius quite fast.. and its power hungry but i think you already know it, knowing it needs 2 6-pin connectors.. well i'm just saying haha

that is not normal. While it is true that these cards ran hot, that usually meant they dump a lot of heat into your case. 100 degrees is way too much they should not pass 85-90 at absolute max
