TUF Detective 2

So... I just got the new TUF X299 M1, happy as can be, it all worked out of the box which was a nice change to my last build.

 

It comes with a TUF Detective 2 Bluetooth USB dongle, which i have plugged into the USB port specifically tagged with the TUF detective compatability.. all going well so far, i then downloaded the android app and paired my phone with the dongle and this is where it seems to break down.

 

My phone will pair but wont show as connected with the dongle? 

 

Has anyone else had any experience or luck with this? is this the 1st set of Mobo to come out with this new TD2? Does it even work?!

I have the card as well. My problem is that I do have iPhone and it says on all the Ad: Can use detective on your smartphone, Sadly Asus think Smart Phone is the name for Android only So can't even test this... and it sucks!

Well, my older Asus board has "WiFi Remote!": the app just crashes every time, as soon as you open it.

I'm still to see one of this smartphone gimmicks work
