Motherboard selections

I heard that msi doesnt get along with motheeboards so i reconsodered my motherboard selectikn for my ryzen setup. I want to go with the gigabyte ax370 gaming k5 which is a nice premium mobo at 180euros. But my eye caught the same  motherboard without the k in the name at 200euros the difference was that it had golden colour (or whatever that was) around the audio jacks it had one extra pcie x16 3.0 lane (instead of a 2.0 one) and had white covers over the IOs and the chipset (instead of black) is that motherboard worth it as a premium/high end piece of hardware consodering my cpu will be ryzen 5 1600?is it dumb to buy a good motherboard ad expensive as your cpu?

Yes, yes it is very dumb.

'Premium Mobo' What do you mean by 'premium'? RGB? M.2 cover?

I'm pretty sure all overclockable motherboards overclock the same (unless they are different form factors).

So do you mean the Gaming 5 one? Why not ASRock?

'S why I said generally. No manufacturer is without the occasional RIP buyer.

Sturdy? Components are more durable than you think, you usually don't break them unless you physically snap them.

I said sturdy looking some motherboards are generally more pleasing to the eye. It is clear that some motherboards 'look' more high quality than others
