Hi there! I am trying to check something about my computer, and I really didn't know where else to look. I have a Dell XPS630i. Quad core, 4 gigs of ram. I also got a NVIDIA 1050ti for it. I was just curious if I got more ram if it'd play games better? I'm kinda new at all of this, so I was just curious if I could get some assistance. Thanks everyone! -Austin

Probably would, many games now list 8GB in their minimum specs (Though that doesn't mean you need it for them to work and be playable). It would also help alot if you like to multitask.

Well I can run some games, I was Justin kinda curious if it would "optimize" them more so With than without.

If you are constantly using page file then yes. Other then that no need unless a specific game wont run

I haven't kept up with Star Citizen at all, have they released anything that is working or explorable that would validate spending money on ram?

The have 2 areas now Crusader and Area18. Adding on racing and other awesomeness. My friend bought me the game so we could play together, but my computer didn't like it. That's why the ram question came to mind.
