I installed ssd and hdd in my first built computer. The problem is after i installed windows 10, only one drive show up in file explorer. Then, I checked on the properties of that drive and both of my storage have been plugged. Is that ok ? And i want to make a seperate disk for both my ssd and hdd, how do i do that ? Thanks ! *Im such a noob*

you might have to check disk management and select a drive letter for the HDD for it to show up in file explorer

Right click windows icon, and click disk managment. Right Click on the Hard drive that has unallocated space and select new simple volume. Keep hitting next until you get to format Partition. Make sure format is NTFS and name the volume what ever you want and then click ok and you will be good to go!

 

Here is an example:

 

 Step 1: Right click windows icon and select disk management

Step 2: Select Unallocated Space on one of your drives. May also be called free space. Right click the unallocated/free space and select new simple volume

Step 3: Click hitting next until you get to the menu below. Enter volume name and drive letter and click next. Make sure its in NTFS format as below
