So a friend is trying to install windows on her custom build pc (just finished building so a 100% new build)

we tried to first download windows trough a official microsoft site calls microsoft imagine or someting like that (i have it for school and i can download windows visual studio and programs like that for free)

it said there where files missing in the installation i did install windwows atleast 5 times before so i do know how to setup rufus and that stuff.

so when we downloaded windows again did rufus again now following a tutorial and got the same error we decided to try a diffrent windows and use that one we downloaded it from getintopc (i am not a owner mod or anthing from a site i mention in this post) it gave us the same error.

So after that i decided to try and use the microsoft help tool and it took 3 ouhrs to install a frking 32bit version of windows what ofc didnt work so now im hoping you guys know how i could get it to work.

ty for reading my poor english please help me image.jpg

Why go through all that trouble when you can download Windows 10 image creation tool right from Microsoft's website?

https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10

Just point it to the USB, let it do its thing and away you go.

Unplug any unnecessary devices and try the installation again. Also, if you can, try using a DVD instead of an USB. That might seem weird to you, but that's what I've been doing to solve these weird installation errors. My friend's laptop that I fixed up refuses to install anything properly over USB, and one of my older towers will crash when a USB device is plugged in during installation.

What kind of Windows it is, and where are you installing it to?

Windows usually complain about missing drivers when they cannot access storage, like your hard drive. For example if you have your drives in RAID configuration from BIOS, if you use dedicated RAID controller, or it just cannot find any attached disk. Check if you have them properly connected, if they appear in computer Setup/BIOS/UEFI. If you use some RAID controller (like AMD RAID or Intel RST) or old obscure SATA controller on motherboard, visit motherboard's manufacturer's page and download drivers. Same if you have for example laptop, download drivers from their webpage.

Edit: They also complain if you plug your installation USB thumbdrive to USB3. Try to find USB2 port to plug it in.

Okay so since this post is kinda mesy and stuff i want to explain what is happening.

When trying to install windows from microsoft site it gives a error that it cant find needed drivers.

I tried to put up drivers on my usb and install them but this gives another error (drivers not found) (yes iam using the correct drivers i even tried using all drivers there are for the motherboard with every update there is),

If i try to install a windows from a diffrent website for example microsoft imagine or getintopc i get a error that it isn't able to find any windows installation drivers.

Please tell me someone here knows how to fix this i have been searching for hours but refuse to belive that i am the first one to ever have this problem

------------

Installing windows 10

Using a 16gb usb to make sure it was completely empty i deleted the volume and made a new simple volume no raid mode or anything just the defualt settings.

thanks for reading and i hope someone here is able to help me out
