Steam Writing Error

Hey guys just did a clean install of everything and installed my steam to my E drive instead of my C drive to save space, i want to put 2 games on my c drive that i play the most but steam says it cant create a folder there because its read only please help

Try right clicking on the steam folder  on your E drive.  Click on properties -> Security.  Under SYSTEM, Administrators, & your username, make sure they all have full permissions

Ok but im trying to put games in C drive

Sorry, didn't see that part in your original post

 

Close out of steam, then hit the windows key, type Steam, then right click, select Run as Administrator
