psu Looking for PSU recommendations

Hello, Im looking for any PSU recommendations that are around 550W and are compatible with this part list.

But question, why are you building a new PC with Z97? You have no upgrade path. Go with Z270 or Ryzen instead.

Any from a reputable brand, EVGA, cooler master etc. If you already know what wattage you want its just a case of the cheapest from a brand whit positive feedback.

Go with Seasonic M12ii Evo 520W or 620W version. Its amazing for its price

 

What i don't understand is why would you build with i5 4690K and Z97 board.

Well the first question is "Why no SSD?"

 

Second, a Corsair CX550 or Seasonic G-series 550W should be fine.

The reason I say no is that pretty much all brands have crappy units and because most people review their PSUs the second they work when they take them out of the box, user reviews are nothing to go off of. I mean hey, just look at the EVGA 430W 80 PLUS unit. That's not really a good unit but it has good reviews because "EVGA" is written on the box, even though EVGA uses several different OEMs for their PSUs so you can't blanket the entire brand as "good" or "bad."

oh, ok. In fairness I don't even take my own advise, I rock a ACE tech 550 watt . Will keep that in mind.

Yeah, although nothing in my rig is supposed to work anyway. I bet the epic 550TI isn't happy

For £25 I can't complain. The most expensive thing in my pc is my wifi card  coming in a massive £40

Yeah, It plays the games I want it too. And don't really have a source of money at the moment. But yes I need to upgrade it.
