[INFO FOUND, NO HELP NEEDED] Vertical GPU bracket - Case compatibility

So I saw CoolerMaster sells vertical GPU brackets of this model: http://www.cmstore.eu/case/vertical-graphic-card-holder-with-riser-card/
On the page, it says the bracket is compatible with Mastercase 5 and 6, and Masterbox 5. However, I'm curious as to whether it is actually compatible with other cases, seeing as it seems to mount into the PCI area in a similar fashion to covers and PCI cards.

Any thoughts?

I can't tell you for sure. But it just seems to accommodate the standard PCI height for a slot. If it is, I think it's a rather smart solution and I won't see any reason why it wouldn't fit in any other case. As long you have the right amount of PCI slots in your case.

depending on your metalworking skill it can be compatible with a lot of cases

 

but essentially, they make said bracket to work with their own modular cases, and naturally they (or other case manufacturers) dont keep other manufacturer's products in mind.

you have to make sure you have a case that doesnt have the metal "bars" between the slots tho.

I went on YouTube to find answers to the compatibility, and this video just so happened to have the exact case I have (model and colour), so I now know the metal bars must go. But I assume mounting PCI cards (NVME drives, audio cards, GPUs etc.) is still fully possible to do in the regular orientation if I later remove the bracket?

Shouldn't be a problem. It only looks less pretty on the outside and you'll lose some rigidity. Also aligning cards might get a bit harder, but since you can still screw them in, and they still slide in lots on the motherboard tray, it should be fine.
