Hello there, I am currently building a new PC that will be my definitive for the next 3-4 years. As I am waiting on the final parts to arrive in the next week, I was wondering if I was better off selling my current PC as a whole or dismantle it and sell pieces individually since the graphics card market is overpriced with the mining crisis. Here's the current PC composition:

Use PCPartPicker to build your list, it's easier for us to tweak it for you.

EDIT: Though if you just add a 1080 Ti to your current PC (sell the 1070 to a miner), you should be good for AAA 1440p and 4K gaming.

i think a 1080 let alone a 1080ti would pull more mileage than a 1070

They are SLI 1070s though...

scrach the 1080 :D

Im sure a single 1080ti is more than 2 1070s

Plus, he could get a 1080 Ti SLI setup with that budget, and that will murder the poor old 1070s... :(

My new PC has 1080ti SLI, Im just trying to figure out if the mining crisis would make it worth to tear the PC apart and sell the parts

Yup! So far I've got a 1050 Ti and a 980 Ti, so I need a 1080 Ti next, so I can keep my streak going. I could get a 750 Ti, but that's not much of an upgrade. :D

Sell the 1070s if you can, though you may need to put the coolers back on. I doubt most miners are watercooling their rigs. Then just put a 1080 or 1080 Ti in there and have a great PC, and maybe some cash left over.

definitely try to sell that as a whole first and if that proves no luck you can dismantle it

like my cousin would be down to pick up that 1070 for cheap if your willing but its your cards

plus i think you can get a premium on it with how good it looks

slap on 1600$ and be willing to work down to 1250$ or something
i mean if your getting a new computer why have the old one laying around

but if you cant start striping parts
