Do anybody know if you can take that orange thing of the left side of G710+? I didn't know

Where to put it so I put it in Off Topic.

Just tried on my brother G710+. You may be able to paint it, but seems to be glued on so Ima say no.

going by that link it looks like its got clips and its heat pressed i would say a heat gun would be able to get it out.

 

but truthfully i would just tape it up thing paint it with black plastidip - alot quicker
