Upgrading current rig

I want to get a 1080 and some better ram, but my board only supports 2133, does anybody know if any board that is NOT Z170 that support higher than 2133? I'm checking up and down PCPP, and all the B150 and other style boards are all 2133, but I would prefer not to buy Z170 if possible because my processor isn't even K skew so I'd be buying a 150$ motherboard, just for faster ram. Not worth it.

 

Edit : It looks like B250 supports up to 2400, but that's not really worth the increase, that's not much faster. I want at least 3000.

To my knowledge only Z170 or Z270 motherboards support 3000mhz or over.

 

Also after looking on Newegg I was unable to find one that isn't Z170 or Z270 that supported the 3000mhz you want.

I guess I'll just grab a Z270 board, some fast 4000 MHZ ram, and then maybe ill upgrade to a 7700k later down the line.

Sounds like a good upgrade plan to me I heard the 7700k can get to around 5Ghz OC'ed
