Boot into the diagnosis thing (there is a name for it, but I forget. It 330.) (Turn computer on, DONT LET IT BOOT. Then force shut down (so winlogo, then press and old pwr, then boot normally)) it should come up with a blue screen, go to advanced, then go back to a previous build.

I have to ask. Why? With all the viruses going round why?? Even if Windows has bugs, its better than all your data being locked up

The thing is, you will be forced to upgrade. If you want to back that far, you need to find an ISO file, and completely install Windows from scratch. I do NOT recommended this, keep your driver's updated and lower your settings a bit.

It does happen that sometimes newer drivers have an issue that causes problem with some games, especially older ones. It usually gets rectified 1-2 drivers update after. Reporting it in the Nvidia/AMD forums helps. In mean time, install older drivers, or try and get the latest beta drivers, and see if the problem is solved. I recommend to install only the drivers needed for the graphics (GPU, and Audio), and not stuff like Nvidia 3D Vision or GeForce experience and all that. Also, ensure that your motherboard chipset drivers are installed. Restart after installing your drivers.
