Stock cooler pops onto the top and you screw it down. Completely different than the aftermarket one. If they were compatible, you wouldn't have had to order an AM4 bracket.

 

Stock is fine for now. Used mine for a little under a week till my Cryorig adapter came.

I am fairly new to building computers and I just ordered all my parts for a new pc however I have to wait for my dark rock 3 AM4 mounting bracket. What I was wondering was if I can use the spire mounting bracket for the Dark Rock 3 or are they just completely different mechanisms? I dont have the parts yet so I cant tell for myself. Thanks in advance.

Use stock for now but then later use the Dark Rock Pro 3

Just get a dark rock 3 mounting bracket. Its free with proof of motherboard and dark rock 3 purchase. You might have to pay for shipping
