Monitor for gaming as well as graphic designing under $500

I am looking to buy a new monitor (24inch and above) for gaming as well as graphic design.
price: <$500

please suggest me some good monitors, I am having a hard time choosing one!

My Build:
 CPU - i7-4790k @ 4.7ghz (overclocked) at 1.328v
 Ram - 16GB Corsair Vengeance DDR3 (overclocked)

where exactly are you from,u.s?

60hz fine or do you want more?

Since i cannot go for 144hz TN panel because of color reproduction and viewing angle issues.

ASUS ROG Swift PG279Q is a great option but then it's out of my budget.

Quote or tag him: @McHox, so he can see you replied. And I'd take a look at Dell's monitors and (forgot what it's called) there's a 1440p, 60Hz 100% sRGB color gamut monitor Asus makes for $400. It's 27" as well.
