Hi, before this happened my PC just turned off while I'm just browsing the internet. Upon turning it on again my PC's fans will spin up for a bit then will turn off again. I've tried clearing the CMOS, reseating the RAM and the power connections of my PC and the activity changed, my PC now doesn't turn off even if I press the power button of my case for a long time but still I got no POST. I can only turn my PC off by switching the I/O button of my PSU. I also removed my PSU and Mobo from my case and placed it on top of the mobo's box but I still got same results. What should I do? I've tried reading and conducting the tests in the No post sticky thread but nothing happens. :((

Technically, your motherboard is POSTing. It just happens to be failing said test.

I tried using my PSU to my older but working Pentium4 PC but same thing happen, however I couldn't test my P4's PSU to this machine since the P4's psu only has 20pins for the mobo. Could it be a power supply issue?

Post your system specs so we know what you're running. I had a friend who bought a 650 watt low end PSU that failed on him and caused similar problems. But if you say you used the PSU on another system that was working fine and caused the same problems when you put the bad PSU in the system it's probably the PSU to blame.

Regarding to my last post using my PSU to other working system, I tried it again and it worked now. Now I tried using it again to this system which failed to post. The result is the system now keeps restarting but still no POST screen.

My system specs are:

i3 2120

Biostar H61 MGC Motherboard

AcBel CE2 PSU - 450W

4GB Kingston Ddr3

500GB WD Blue

Corsair H60 cooler

p.s I tried removing RAM but still there was no beep codes

Thanks!
