Are the amplifiers on ebay any good?

Are the amplifiers on ebay any good. I'm talking about the board ones.. They come at 66.26kn - 198.77kn. They are all class D which is as much as I know the best amplifier class..

I want to power my subwoofer and 2 satellites which are currently powered by a home cinema that is taking up way too much space..

TPA3116

TPA3116D2

TDA7498

these are the chipsets in the boards.. also are they really as powerful as they claim to be.. I need a 50W for my satellites and 120W for my subwoofer...

First Clas D is not "the best" every class has its own usage ;)

Generally i cant recommend china ebay electronics... i had several blow ups.

Sound quality wise... i do have to know which speakers youre rocking... i guess nothing to expensive.

Then they will be ok sound wise.

But they are poorly engineered and some are outright dangerous

FOLDING MONTH 2021! GOGOGO and save on some heating costs 🙂

The reason a home cinema is taking up space is because you need more board area to handle the power.

Hi-fi amplifiers aren't massive for no reason.

If you want decent quality and high power delivery, you need a big unit.

Those "board amps" will be highly unlikely to deliver over 50W (if they can even do 50W continuous).

Stick with the home cinema, or find a high quality, smaller amplifier.

Hope this helps :)
