Best Gpu for 1080p gaming for my cpu

Hey all i posted here a week or two ago about building a budget pc and was reccomended to buy used based on my tight budget (plan to save up for coffee lake) and i got an i5 4460, Asus h81 mobo and 8 gb of ram for $160 total on ebay.

 

For 1080p gaming am i limited to a gtx 1060/ RX 580?  By the time coffee lake rolls out i imagine Nvidia will have a new lineup out.

Get the best you can afford within reason. If you have the funds get it. You would be just fine with a 1060/1070 imo.
