For the past 2 months i was modding my pc and i am nearly done, all that is left is few aesthetic pieces, i/o shroud (nearly done), and gpu backplate.

It is just a piece of acrylic painted, and i'm thinking just double sided tape on top of the screws to hold on to, but i worry about temps.

When i was looking to buy my gpu i saw some reviews that said it had some hot spots on the back of the pcb and since this will definitely not help with that i don't want to make it any worst.

Should i put backplate on and is there a reason to worry about temps if i do put it on?

Graphic card is asus strix rx 470
