Open it and find out what it is? ;)

JK: I have no idea, but maybe try and wipe the USB clean in some way or just simply replace the USB (if it is not to expensive that is)?

What files did your friend put on it?

Well then I would suggest asking him what he can have put on it and as long as he didn't screw it over with pron or something you should be fine...

nothing i delete it and it comes back

have you formatted the drive yet?

if it is comeing back (after you del it successfully) it probably you computer is infected and it is putting the file on it to spread malware to othere computers.

i would run malwarebytes AND if you have av update it and run a full scan.  if you dont have av or if is out of date get avg free and run a full scan.

also scan the usb using malwarebytes

Right click the file you need to delete, choose properties, advanced and untick "allow indexing" you will then be able to delete the file.
