I have a 22.4/5.7 internet dl/ul service and yet recently all of a sudden Twitch is impossible to watch even below 720p HD feeds on it.  I have tried solutions out there but nothing is working.  I have written tech support with my ISP and straight up asked if they were throttling me when I was on sites where I watch live streams or stream myself and I have not gotten a response yet as they haven't had the chance yet to respond as the office has not opened up yet for Sunday (opens at 8 am) but man I am just so ticked off right now.  No matter what it is I am sick of this.  I had no such issues until recently when PS4 and Xbox One people suddenly started streaming on the site and with them creating more traffic well is that an issue?  I honestly just don't know what to say other than Twitch is dead to me at this point.  Has anyone else had horrible experiences continuously lately with that website?

Too many ****ing games!  Back log 4 life! :S

try a vpn and see if it fixes the problem, if it does you are being throttled.

it could also be you home network.  are you on wifi do you have a good signal.  run online http://www.speedtest.net/ to see what speeds you are getting.

it may be your isp is over capacity at peek time and is giving everyone a crap service.  they may have a connection to you at 22.4mb/s but that does not mean they have that to the internet.

I always get over 22/5 for my internet speeds using the speed test you mentioned above.  I also had Hotspot Shield installed and was having problems with Twitch already.  In regards to my home network I am all wired.  I did at a switch recently but things got bad when I saw Twitch had changed things on their side vs anything I did.  Ever since I noticed this new format in regards to these settings of low, medium, high and source being showed things have been a problem.  What could they have done on their side that could cause me problems? :Z

It does not seem like a internet connection thing then,  what browser are you using, try an alternative, crome/firefox you may have a plugin or a flash player issue.  try that browser in safemode (no plugins)

you may have one of the may antivirus toolbar that scans everything and makes website performance very bad.

sometimes twitch is terrible, but not all the time, they are growing to fast for there servers.
