Possible to build 2 systems with 1.6K USD?

it sounds like you arent really sure what you want. do you plan on primarily playing games, or curating content? it's necessary to know since it will drastically change the price per component you should be spending, and i presume peripherals will be included in the 1.6k since you said you'll need a monitor

we can work with just phone headphones but I need 2 systems, doesn't matter if its extreme or not but I just need it for mid-gaming if that is possible and editing

Id have to say the 1600 over the 1400 as well unless you want the gaming performance better than editing.

@Moress build is balanced slightly more towards editing

For the record I tried putting a 1600 in there but I just couldn't push it more over budget.

@Specter FXXK If you can stretch the budget I would really try to get a 1600 and a 1060 for each build. the 1600 has 2 cores and 4 threads more than the 1400, which will make a huge difference for render times, and the 1060 is miles ahead of the 1050ti in gaming, and also has 2G more vram.

If possible can you do this? put a 1060 in one rig and then the other a 1050

No problem. Remember, you can customize ram and GPU according to what you like in terms of looks/manufacturers, as long as you stick with a 6G 1060 and DDR4 memory. I would definitely try to get some faster memory if you can (beware of bad latency though).
