Dang I wish ryzen was around when I built my system... same cost but with 1080 instead of a 1060 and a 6 core instead of a 4 core. *sigh*

Anyways to the build itself:

Why a 212? The 1600 comes with a stock cooler, and if you want to overclock AFAIK the 212 won't get you far.

Also, great monitor, has served me well and as far as I can tell (mild deutan here), has great color. However, with the 1080 I would recommend a higher refresh rate, or resolution, or both. The dell S2417DG is a great choice as a 1440p 165Hz monitor, when you can find it for $400 (Best buy has it for sale at semi regular intervals).

Do you already have a case?

No place for the case... i'm building in us... and back to brazil... no taxes :)
At least i will try...

In that case, don't go with a 212, go for something bigger. I don't have much experience in what's exactly necessary for 4GHz on a 1600, so you'll have to wait for someone else on here or do more research yourself.

I think a 1080 will be complete waste at 1080p, get a 1070 with a 1440p monitor.

MAX OUT...

Maxed out setting aren't that much better than high, might as well get 1440p high rather than 1080p ultra/max.

Get rid of the 212 EVO, it's overpriced. Just use the stock cooler.

Also? Where the fuck is the case?

Yeah, pretty much. Toss the cooler, use stock.

  • Case?
  • Change out the keyboard/mouse. It's cancer and the connection is really temperamental & there is huge input latency.
