Bad wifi adapter

Is a $10 wifi adapter not good or ok to use because I did no research on this on someone just bought me a random cheap one. I have been lagging specifically in my pc so I think we choose too cheap of a card

i used to get red bars on my ps4 all the time when someone else will get on the internet. I had my ps4 set on "wifi" settings

what fixed the lagging for me is a ethernet cable. if your pc is in another room buy really long ethernet cables and some ethernet cable  adaptors (make it look clean). but sometimes to many cables can probably lower the speed. you can try getting a good wifi adaptor but i think you will still lag because its on wifi. Maybe it might not be your wifi but your pc that sucks and lags when you play demanding games.

 

overall i would say to get an ethernet cable, that worked wonders for me now i dont lag
