Front panel usb ports not working

I got a case and took my prebuilt PC parts and put them in the new one. everything is working, except the 2 front USB ports. I connected every cable possible and there is none left disconnected. The area on the motherboard that says "F_USB30" is what I assume to be the front panel USB connection has its cable connected.

cable still intact on the front panel? could have gotten loose. they are usually poorly glued on.

have you installed all the chipset drivers for your motherboard? if you can get them I mean

I have no idea. Where could I get them?

hmm from the looks of it you cant get usb drivers from HP and I cant find it on gigabytes website it is possible that the motherboard connector is busted.

ok great haha 

I'm looking into upgrading my cpu and motherboard so that might just solve the problem
