hey gus stuck on which motherboad i should go with for my first gaming pc        MSI AMD AM4 B350 Gaming Pro Carbon  or the ASUS ROG STRIX B350-F GAMING ?

IMO Strix looks better but MSI has a m.2 cooler

Get Asrock. from what people have been saying around here, MSI doesnt have a good bios? not sure if it has changed so dont get mad if im wrong. I have a micro ATX AM4, and been able to OC ryzen to 3.97Ghz on stock cooler so i guess it has a good bios

i have the b350 pro carbon. nice board, but the BIOS is disorganized. plus POST times are slightly higher than expected. and really misleading RGB.. there's only 8 colors

but taichi is ugly compared to strix and very expensive lol

 

ASUS's BIOS is decent, MSIs isn't too good from what I've heard.

wasnt saying i got a Taichi. i just got the AB350-Pro4 micro atx. i dont need them fancy LED/RGB stuff even though it looks nice

True that. I've always somehow got more overclock from Asrock compared to other brands. They have some magic sauce added to their mobos I guess

running the taichi here, been with asrock for a while really satisfied with them, good bios lots of options and pretty damn stable with ram.

Comparing a b350 price with a high end x370 is kinda silly, you get what you pay for.

I´ve taken this for `future proofing` and i´m building a black and white build which limits options a lot and made this one look better than the other ones.
