Do you think I should sacrifice the IPS panel for a TN panel if I go for 24''?

21.5" is rather small, it depends on what size is right for you.

No. I made that mistake them returned the Samsung's TN panel 4K monitor for the LG IPS and it worlds difference. Spend a little extra now for future proofing!
