Xbox One X -vs- PC... A video request.

Rabih.H

Considering that most good looking HTPC cases cost over $50 and a Windows license costs $100 (not considering Win10 for free), it's not going to happen unless you drop your settings to, in my opinion, medium.

dropped storage capacity to 1 TB: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/HkVnVY

And do you need 2400 MHz? will 2133 not work?

If you can go for 2133 MHz, this build works and has 12 GB of RAM, which is the default amount in an Xbox One X: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/gYnQQV

This has probably been suggested already. What they should do for a comparison video is perform a comparison between the XBoneX and 2-3 pcs.

1st PC is built to match the performance and maybe even aesthetics as cheaply as possible, then have a price comparison

2nd PC  is built be the best performing PC that can be built for the same price as the console

3rd is optional and they can either make a comparison of a typical build or they can build a used machine to see how much it would cost if you are scraping together used parts.

The Xbox One X looks incredible in my opinion. They have legitimately powerful hardware in it, and through the magic of insane console optimization, 40k 60fps would be no problem for them - and no quality won't get pumped down much. For example, COD IW runs 60fps and true 4k on the PS4 pro, and despite what people will say, the game looks genuinely decent. And the PS4 pro is about 20% slower, so the possibilities are quite high. I love my PC, but I'm not a console hater. This generation has brought the gap between PC and console closer then it's ever been, and despite bias, I think it's an incredible achievement for the gaming industry as a whole. This just means things will get cheaper, and progress will be pushed quicker.

Ryzen 7 2700x, MSI Gaming X RX 480 8gb, Asus ROG X470 Gaming, 2x8gb Corsair Vengeance LPX 3000, 120gb Kingston SSD (Boot) + 1TB Seagate Barracuda.
