Not able to overclock ram

I can't seem to overclock my ram, not even the slightest on my ryzen pc. No matter what I set the speed at, it does not post, or I get this message (picture below). Even when I set the speed at 2133Mhz manually, which is the automated speed, i get the same post. Even lower  speed, the same thing happens. I've tried countless voltages and even tried to set the timings manually. This may be a lost cause but any help and feedback on this issue is helpful.

Ryzen 5 1600

Asus x370 prime pro

Sapphire rx 580 8gb limited edition

corsair vengeance LED 3200Mhz 16gb in dual channel

650w corsair cx650m PSU

Corsair 400c case

Kingston ssdNow UV400 240gb

Yes. When I first built the PC, it had a very old bios and it didnt work with both ram sticks, but updating it fixed that atleast. The picture says im using bios version 0803 which is the newest one

Is your ram in the QVL list? This is pretty important for ryzen right now, as I found out the hard way.

Not sure. Bought the specific ram mainly because of the blue LED which fits really well in my white and blue build

From experience, you're lucky if you can post, forget gaming even if you can get into windows.

Get a memory kit that's compatable. AMD is apparently going to release a new bios soon that'll support more RAM kits. Your current kit may get supported by that.

And as I found out not all LPX kits are compatable with Ryzen too

Then I'll just wait for the ram to be compatible. I really don't wanna swap them, mainly for the looks. They look really good with the blue LED. Hopefully this will happen in the next bios update

Yeah, sounds like a good idea. keep in mind there's no guarantee your ram would be supported after a wait though.

Do they come with a bios update about every month or so? If so I'll wait a couple of months and wish for the best

It's about every two months, for Gigabyte at least
