Hey Guys
I Have been putting together an old system into a new case meaning all the parts are compatible because it used to work
i had the no post problem i.e computers boots up but nothing is displayed on screen
i tried all the steps here -->

as well as some advice from friends like cleaning the ram location in my MB and i consulted the MB manual for the location of jumpers and made sure they were seated correctly & putting a gpu and hooking up the vga cable onto it instead of the mobo graphics
my specs are ;-
a 230 watt psu
a pentim processor ( i will attach a photo cuz i don't know the exact model)
a g41d3+ MB
no graphic card
2 giga byte of ram which didn't work on my newer computer ( computer kept powering on & off with no display output) but the old computer doesn't work with the newer ddr3 ram also
160 GB hard drive
all these components have been lying around for about 4 years before i put them in the new case

either:

PSU died (likely)

GPU dead (sorta likely yet sorta rare)

RAM is dead (not really likely)

Motherboard is dead (rare)
CPU is dead (very VERY rare)

Ryzen 5 3600 stock | 2x16GB C13 3200MHz (AFR) | GTX 760 (Sold the VII)| ASUS Prime X570-P | 6TB WD Gold (128MB Cache, 2017)

Samsung 850 EVO 240 GB

138 is a good number.

Check the capacitors around the board as the motherboard is probably from 2006 era, and capacitors from that era have been known to be shit.

The PC uses DDR2, so if you see any DDR2 lying around or for sale at a very cheap cost you can pick them up

I'm pretty sure pentium D was DDR2 only. I know some LGA 775 motherboards have DDR2/3 but..
