Video of what happened:

So is this just a bad overclock, or is it something else? I've had this overclock for 12 months now though...

Restarted the PC and now it's doing fine. It has been a couple of days since it happened.

Edit: Its a CPU overclock BTW

Really?  Looks very much like classic GPU artifacts

Solve your own audio issues  |  First Steps with RPi 3  |  Humidity & Condensation  |  Sleep & Hibernation  |  Overclocking RAM  |  Making Backups  |  Displays  |  4K / 8K / 16K / etc.  |  Do I need 80+ Platinum?

If you can read this you're using the wrong theme.  You can change it at the bottom.

Its a GTX 1080. Since GPU Boost does such a good job at overclocking, I did not see much benefit in overclocking it myself. All I was doing was watching  the E3 stream with a few other tabs and programs open.

It's possible it didn't do so good of a job this time.  Try limiting the clock speed by just a bit

So I should still worry even though the problem is gone for now?
