Not 144hz?

So, I have 3 AOC G2460PQU monitors. And a few weeks ago when recording something in my room, I noticed that my left 144hz had no line flicker even though my camera was recording at 30fps. The middle and right did have line flicker.

So I did a bunch of tests and found out the monitor wasn't actually 144hz. I contacted AOC they said it was common and that I'd need to send it in for a firmware update (for free) so I did. I have now recieved it back and it feels fluent, the mouse movements feel like it's 144hz but there is still no line flicker, is this normal? I'm suspecting it may be 120 hz, not 144hz.

Also, not sure why - but since they have done this "firmware update" setting the monitor to 144hz makes it so there is a litte bit of light "flicker" in the top right hand corner of the screen, very strange. If you put the screen onto a black background it's pretty clear.

If it ain't fixed, it ain't fixed then :/ Flickering definitely sounds like a defective device apart from anything else.
Can you set 144Hz in windows? how does is look when you set you diplsay setup to mirror the same pciture on all 3 screens? Which interface are you using on the 3 displays?

Yes, I can set 144hz but there's no flickering when recording with a 30fps camera which leads me to believe it's like 120hz.

All 3 monitors are connected via mDP, I have tried DVI but no change. I'm not too sure what the flicker in the top left is.

Also, what do you mean by duplicate the displays? How would I go about doing that?

Thanks for your help.

Nothing really changes when I duplicate the "faulty" display with the other two. The other two continue to do normal 144hz flicker when on camera and the "faulty" monitor has no signs of 144hz.
