I've been thinking to build this PC, and I  have a question.
processor : i5 7400

Mobo : Gigabyte GA-H110m S2

GPU: Nvidia GTX 1060

Ram: 2 X 4 GB DDR4

SMPS: 500 W

SSD : 250GB

HDD : 500 GB

1. Will the motherboard be able to handle the processor and Graphics card? Because a store engineer told me it will not be able to handle the stress and games will lag.

that guy is a complete idiot. wow. the only thing that might not work is that the motherboard may be on a BIOS that dosent support the Kaby lake CPU you have so i would suggest going for a B250 motherboard if you can or that one if you know it has a BIOS with Kabylake support on it

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

Builds:

The Toaster Project! Northern Bee!

The original LAN PC build log! (Old, dead and replaced by The Toaster Project & 5.0)

Spoiler

#3. There is nothing "wrong" with being wrong. Learning from a mistake can be more valuable than not making one in the first place.

I thought so because many of my friends have the same build and have no complaint.. I can get the BIOS updated right?

if it dosent have it already you would need someone with a compatible CPU to update it for you but i would guess it probably has it but there is always a chance it dosent.
